Discover Kronodesign’s exclusive decors in a new application – furniture frontals
Inspired by Italian design, created with a special 3D decorative foil.
The combination of Kronospan’s MDF and a 2D/3D foil, created in partnership with Renolit, results in these stunning furniture doors that are perfectly matched in terms of color, design and surface texture with the decors from the Kronodesign® Trends 14/15 and Trends 16/17 collections.
The 3D foils are applied as decorative surfacing for lamination to Kronospan’s single sided melamine faced MDF. The MDF panels are wood-based substrates consisting of homogenous wood fibres. Their reverse side is melamine-coated, whereas the frontals are routed with the chosen profile/style and wrapped to the front and edge with the 3D foil. Using a thermoforming process, the foils are coated with a scrub resistant lacquer that protects the material and provides excellent light fastness, mechanical and stain resistance.
It provides unlimited design possibilities, ensures a unique and coordinated identity for a range of interior solutions and brings beauty and performance to profiles, cabinet doors, drawers and many other component parts.
